TERMS OF USE
1. GENERAL
By clicking the checkbox "I accept" prior to using our services, you automatically accept these Terms of Use.
These Terms of Use apply between GoWish ApS and its subsidiaries and affiliated companies (collectively referred to as "GoWish", "we", "us" or "our") and you as a user of our services, including www.gowish.com (the "Websites"), our mobile application and platform (the "Platform"), as well as any locations where these Terms of Use are published (collectively referred to as the "Services").
Your privacy is important to us. Therefore, these Terms of Use also refer to our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, where you can read more about how we collect and process your information and your content.
These Terms of Use are effective as of 25 March 2026.
2. WHO IS GOWISH?
GoWish is a free platform that allows you to create wish lists, share your lists, and purchase gifts and products at the best prices online.

GoWish is free for all users. In order to maintain GoWish as a free app, GoWish has, among other things, affiliate agreements with a number of brands, and some links on GoWish are affiliate links. When you click on an affiliate link and subsequently make a purchase from one of our partners, GoWish may in certain cases receive a small commission from the purchase. Clicking on an affiliate link that generates a commission does not result in any additional cost to you and does not affect the quality of the content on GoWish.
3. USER ACCOUNT
You must create a user profile for the Services in order to access the creation of wish lists and reservation of wishes. You can create your account via email. You must be at least 15 years old to create a user account.
4. USE OF THE SERVICES
When using the Services, you are required to provide accurate information about yourself and to use the Services solely for private, non-commercial purposes.
By using the Services, you confirm that the information you have provided is accurate.
Your login credentials are personal and must not be shared with others. If you suspect that someone else has used your login credentials, you must promptly change your login information (especially your password) and notify GoWish by email at mail@GoWish.com.
If GoWish has reasonable grounds to suspect that another user is using your login credentials, GoWish is entitled to revoke your rights and your use of GoWish and related services. You must never use another person's account without permission or allow another user to use your profile. You may not create more than one profile.
GoWish reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to limit, suspend, or exclude you from your profile and/or your access to all or part of your profile.
GoWish also reserves the right to change the Services at any time without justification, with or without prior notice. This also means that GoWish may, without notice and at its own discretion, delete services and features within the Services, including wish lists and user profiles. Similarly, GoWish reserves the right to discontinue the Services either with prior notice or immediately.
As a user, you must ensure that you only use the Services for lawful purposes and activities. Specific prohibited activities include, but are not limited to: criminal activities or terrorist activities, harassment, bullying, or any other use that is incompatible with GoWish.
Any action or omission by you in violation of the above prohibitions may result in the termination or suspension of your profile and your access to the Services.
5. AGE OF USERS
As a user, you must be at least 15 years old to create your own profile. GoWish requires users to verify their own age. This means that you must provide your date of birth. GoWish is not responsible if a profile is created in violation of the applicable age limit.
The Services are not intended for use by children under the age of 15 without prior parental consent. If you are a parent of a child under 15 and believe that your child has provided personal data without your approval, you are requested to contact us immediately by email at: mail@GoWish.dk, and we will delete the information from our system.
GoWish has developed Kids Account. Kids Account is a special type of profile created by a parent or guardian within an existing user profile. The purpose is to provide children with a safe and independent environment to create and manage wish lists.
Kids Account is linked to a parent's/guardian's main account, which can be managed by the parent. The parent grants the child access to a simplified and age-appropriate version of the service. Parents have full control over the Kids Account.
Kids Account is designed to comply with applicable legislation and to support healthy digital habits for children.
The child can, among other things:
- create, edit, delete, and rearrange wishes
- create, edit, archive, and delete wish lists
- customize their profile with a profile picture, cover images, and wish list covers
- access the Gift Generator, limited to the child's registered age
- share wish lists via link, SMS, email, and QR code
The child cannot:
- share their profile (only wish lists can be shared)
- share individual wishes directly
- access social features
- see advertisements or other recommendations
GoWish does not use children's data for behavioral marketing and does not share children's personal data beyond what is necessary to operate the platform. GoWish does not use the personal data of users under 18 for tracking, retargeting, or profiling for behavioral advertising.
6. MARKETING ON THE PLATFORM
When you create a user account with GoWish and subsequently use the Services, you accept that marketing content may be displayed within the Services. Such marketing may include:
- Marketing of GoWish and GoWish's services, such as special offers from GoWish or new services offered by GoWish.
- Marketing of GoWish's partners and their products, services, etc. that you have listed on your wish list, as well as marketing of our partners' products and services that are similar to or otherwise related to the wishes you have added to your wish list. This may include products within the same product category or products that otherwise complement the wishes you have fulfilled via your wish list.

If GoWish intends to use additional personal data based on consent, we will request your consent in connection with our cookie consent.
7. NEWSLETTER
When you sign up for GoWish's newsletter, you accept and consent to GoWish sending newsletters to the provided email address and push notifications, and that these newsletters may contain marketing of GoWish and our partners. You can always view our partners on our website or via this link.
You therefore consent to GoWish sending you emails and push notifications with relevant products, offers, competitions, news, practical information, etc. Marketing in the newsletters will typically include inspiration for your wish list from other products, birthday offers and discounts, new products from our partners, and more.
When signing up for the newsletter, you will be asked to provide your email address as well as your name and postal code so that GoWish can send you newsletters with as relevant inspiration, products, and offers as possible from our partners.
You may withdraw your consent and unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. Unsubscribing can be done via the unsubscribe link in the newsletter or via your profile under "Account".

8. RIGHTS
The intellectual property rights and marketing rights to the Services and associated systems/software and materials in the Services belong to GoWish ApS (or third parties). You therefore assume full responsibility for any infringement of such rights originating from your account and/or profile.
You assume full responsibility for the materials and information you use, upload, or submit through the Services, including ensuring that such materials and information comply with applicable law, general morals, codes of conduct, and ethics.
By accepting these Terms of Use, you are granted a non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the Services for private use on a device you own or control, in accordance with these Terms of Use. GoWish does not guarantee a specific service level or specific functionality of the Services.
GoWish can transfer its rights and obligations relating to the Services to a third party at any time and at the sole discretion of GoWish.
9. LIABILITY
The Services are provided as they are and are used on your own initiative, as you have the right to opt out of using the Services at any time.
Furthermore, GoWish provides no support and does not guarantee maintenance in connection with the Services. GoWish means all upgrades, updates and changed versions of GoWish.
GoWish cannot be held liable for delays or defects of any kind in relation to the goods or services that you purchase through third parties, including when linking to the third party from a wish list, as GoWish is not a party to the agreement between you and the third party. You cannot assert against us any other rights of default in respect of purchases via third parties.
GoWish is not liable for damages and/or not liable for any personal injury or damage to property that occurs as part of the use of our services or when purchasing via third parties. In any case, our liability for damages is limited to DKK 10,000 for each event.
10. COMMISSION
Partners with whom we have a contractual relationship may be highlighted on the platform under headings such as "trending", "suggested brands", "popular products", and "found on other shops". Such highlighting will be marked as "sponsored" or "advertisement", meaning that the partner has paid to be displayed there.
You may add links to third-party websites in your wish list and thereby choose which links appear in your wish list.
Products from retailers with whom GoWish has entered into partnerships may appear when using the wish list, gift generator, or search functions. As these partnerships do not include promotion through these features and do not influence how results are displayed, such displays are not marked as advertising. However, it will be stated on each product page whether the product is an advertisement. Any special promotion of specific products will be marked as "sponsored".
In some cases, GoWish receives a commission from third parties if you click on or make a purchase via a link in a wish list. It is not always possible for GoWish to know this in advance, as GoWish's supplier determines in real time whether a commission opportunity exists.
11. SEARCH FUNCTIONS
Our search function dynamically sorts results based on the wording of your search and the relevance of available products at the time of the search. Ranking is primarily influenced by factors such as keyword matching, product title and description relevance, product availability, and recent popularity signals derived from interactions on the platform. If multiple results are substantially similar in relevance, results may be reordered to improve user experience and source diversity.
Search results may include products from retailers with whom we have partnership agreements. Such partnerships do not determine or alter the order in which results are displayed in the search function, and any special promotions for specific partners or products will be clearly marked as "sponsored", "advertisement", or "ad" where relevant. Sponsored placements differ from organic search results and are not ranked by our relevance systems.
You may add links to third-party websites in your wish lists, and such links may appear in search results when they match your search. Purchases from third parties are outside our control and subject to the third party's terms.
We may change, suspend, or remove search features at any time, with or without notice, including adjustments to how ranking signals are weighted or evaluated, in order to maintain or improve service quality.
12. LINKS AND THIRD PARTIES
The Services may contain links to or enable access to websites, apps, or services operated by third parties, including advertisers, partners, or retailers. These third parties are outside GoWish's control, and GoWish does not monitor or control the content, availability, or functionality of such websites.
By following a link or interacting with a third-party service, you do so at your own risk. GoWish is not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, reliability, or quality of such third-party products, services, or information.
When accessing third-party websites, your Personal Data is no longer processed by GoWish as data controller. Such third parties may have their own policies regarding the processing of Personal Data, including payment information, over which we have no control. You are encouraged to review the relevant third-party privacy policies before making purchases or providing information.
All matters relating to purchases, payment, warranty, delivery, maintenance, and other conditions of products or services ordered from third parties are solely between you and the relevant third party. GoWish is not a party to such agreements and assumes no responsibility for them.
GoWish reserves the right to remove links to or from third-party websites without notice. You hereby waive any claims against GoWish regarding third-party content, practices, or data processing.
13. NON-COMMERCIAL USE
The Services are for your personal use only and may not be used in connection with commercial activities, except those specifically approved by GoWish. To become a Partner with GoWish, you may contact our Partner team at partner@gowish.dk.
14. PERSONAL DATA
Information about the processing of your personal data in connection with GoWish and your rights under applicable data protection laws can be found in GoWish's current Privacy Policy.
The Services may link to external websites outside our control, such as those of our advertisers and partners. GoWish's Privacy Policy only covers how we process the Personal Data and usage data collected through our Services.
When accessing external websites, your Personal Data will no longer be processed by GoWish as data controller. Please note that external sites may have different policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of your Personal Data, including specific policies governing how they process and store your credit card information. GoWish has no control over and is not responsible for such third-party privacy practices. You are therefore encouraged to review the privacy policies of all third-party websites. Cookies accepted on third-party websites are likewise outside GoWish's control.
15. CHANGES
GoWish may make changes to these Terms of Use if relevant.
Non-material changes to your disadvantage will be notified by email no later than one month before they take effect. By continuing to use GoWish or the Services after the changes take effect, you accept the amended Terms of Use.
If you do not accept the Terms of Use or any changes thereto, you may delete your user account and thereby cease using the Services. You may delete your account at any time via your profile under "Account".
If we implement material changes to your disadvantage, we will notify you via our Services.
Certain Services within GoWish may be subject to specific terms in addition to these general Terms of Use. In the event of any conflict, such specific terms shall prevail over these general Terms of Use.
16. INDEMNIFICATION
If GoWish is met with claims from third parties arising from or related to your use of the Services in violation of these Terms of Use and/or your breach of these Terms of Use and/or any breach of your representations set out above, and/or if any content you post on the platform causes GoWish to incur liability towards another party, or if GoWish is subject to any claim from a GoWish provider arising from a transaction between you and such provider, you shall indemnify GoWish for all losses and claims incurred.
The above indemnification provisions apply only to the extent permitted by mandatory law.
17. MISCELLANEOUS
These Terms of Use and your acceptance constitute the entire agreement between GoWish and you regarding the use of GoWish and the Services. Our failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms of Use shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
Section headings in these Terms of Use have no independent legal or contractual effect.
18. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms of Use are governed by Danish law. Any disputes shall be settled by the Danish courts.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Danish courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to your use of the Services, and you agree not to initiate legal proceedings in any other forum.
